My Take on Product

I am today going to review a lipstick from Lakme 9-5 Range which I bought recently while there was sale on Nykaa (click here) .

It come in a very beautiful rose gold bullet with brand name written in white color. I really love the packaging it looks so royal and rich. I for the first time loved the packaging of lakme product..

The color Tea Break is a beautiful pink based nude shade which look  well on  lips and is perfect to hide pigmented lips, It helps in  the even tone of lips& gives the classy polished feel and covering up of any pigmentation. I am in love with this color these days and using it quite often. Though on darker complexions its  pale touch may wash out. So gals so do swatch it before buying! This shade stays on for around 4 hours on me. But it is made to be on lips for 8 hours and doesn’t deliver what it clams.

Now coming to the texture  this particular range is a soft matte. It is quite creamy to swipe on your lips. A lot easier than many creamy lipsticks if I compare. Within a minute of application it sets into a matte finish that is perfect for office goers. I would highly recommend you use a lip scrub before you apply these lipsticks becoz u  don’t want your lipstick to look uneven.

 My Rating – 4/5

Re-purchase/ Recommendation  Yess!!!!!I am definitely going to purchase but in other shade. ‘ Tea Break’ is a nice nude lip color . If you have a lighter complexion and are in search of a nice nude lipstick in budget, go ahead with Tea Break. they are smooth on application but kind of wash my complexion but looks great with some dramatic smoky eyes…
